You can "retrofit" the volume flow meter FC-2 and react flexibly to future requirements. Just plug in an option board and set the new parameters via the front panel and the device goes into extended use.


Reduce costs through consumption-based cost allocation and leak detection. With the flow detection and their totalization, a consumption-dependent allocation of expensive compressed air is possible. For most operators of compressed air systems, the leakage losses are over 30%. Here, the strength of the calorimetric flow measurement can be used to reliably measure even very small volume flows and leakage losses.

The simple plug-in system of the sensors allows the use in any sensor adapter or measuring ball valve of 1/2 "to 2" pipe diameter. By simply reprogramming the evaluation electronics, leaks can be detected and closed in a first step, in a second step the same measuring system can then be used for consumption measurements.

With our measuring systems FlowControl FC1 and FlowControl FC2 we actively contribute to cost transparency. The FlowMonitors are used for precise consumption recording in the industrial use of compressed air, because only the compressed air energy balance creates transparency in controlling. This is the only way for everyone to realize the not inconsiderable costs for compressed air. It will be more responsible and therefore more economical to deal with this energy source as soon as the energy used can be assigned to the consumer cost centers.

An example is intended to illustrate the financial consequences of a very small, imperceptible leakage:

1mm² leakage area corresponds to a power loss for the compressor of 1,7KW = 10 m³ / h

Operating air costs: 0.025 € / m³ (average value)

Minimum cost per year due to this leakage: 2010 €

335 days x 24 hours x 10 m³ x € 0.025 = 2010 €
